Cycling Toronto to the Scarborough Bluffs

After 6 weeks of cycling-free rest post-surgery (get the story on what happened HERE), I was finally cleared to get back on the bike. I spent a couple weeks cycling around the block and to and from work, and eventually my wrist felt strong enough to try a longer ride.

I quickly set my sights on the lovely bike ride along the Waterfront Trail from Toronto to the Scarborough Bluffs. My partner and I had done it once before and loved it. It’s a 40km ride roundtrip from the centre of Toronto and cruises by the water along bike lanes, up through Toronto’s east end, and eventually lands at the beautiful Scarborough Bluffs — a gorgeous escarpment looking out over Lake Ontario.

How did the ride cycling from Toronto to the Scarborough Bluffs go? Find out in this video:

If you’re looking for a nice new route to cycle in Toronto, this is certainly a lovely one. Let me know in the comments below if you give it a try!
