Dairy-Free Turmeric Latte

This dairy-free turmeric latte is a creamy almond and coconut milk base, filled with flavourful spices and sweetened with a hint of maple syrup. What better way is there to wake up?

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 2-3 tbsp coconut milk (from a can)
  • 1-3 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • pinch nutmeg
  • few dashes black pepper
  • small pinch Himalayan salt
  • 1 tbsp collagen (optional)
Instructions
  1. Warm almond milk, coconut milk and maple syrup in a small pot over medium heat.

  2. Boil a small kettle of water.

  3. In the meantime, add all remaining ingredients to mug.

  4. Milk has warmed enough when it begins to simmer. Pour into mug with spices.

  5. Add hot water to mug, leaving 1/2 centimeter room at top.

  6. Transfer to blender and blend for 5-10 seconds to froth. Transfer back to mug and enjoy!
